Welcome to Mr. Foley's Cask Ale House, York Brewery's latest venture and their first outside their own city walls.
This latest pub is housed in a magnificent Grade II-listed building, opposite Leeds' impressive Town Hall, and just minutes from the city train station.
The outlet is named after Patrick James Foley, who founded Pearl Assurance on that very site, and whose statue adorns the roof to this day.
The pub prides itself on its cask beers, and are commited to maintaining the quality of our national brews, sourcing them from microbreweries the length and breadth of the UK. With up to ten ales serving at any one time - including dedicated Copper Dragon and Leeds lines, as well as the full range of York beers - and a draught range including Leffe, Palm, Peroni Nastro Azzurro and the exclusive Zatec pilsner from Prague, choice will never be lacking.
Also available is an extensive and varied bottled beer and cider selection from all corners of the world. Some you may know - such as the renowned Chimay Trappist beers - but others, such as the award-winning Crocodile lager from Halmstad, Sweden, may provide a new experience. Add in top-quality wines and spirits, and ever-changing guest and seasonal products, and Foley's offers something for everyone!
Our mouth-watering menu, encompassing both traditional pub grub and some out of the ordinary fayre, offers carefully paired beer and wine selections designed to enhance your dining experience, and is served daily from 11 am to 7pm (5pm Sundays).
We also have a function room available free of charge, and are able to provide a buffet service if required for any sized group. The city centre location and fantastic variety of products make it a perfect venue for meetings, wedding receptions, birthdays, office parties or any other excuse you can think of to party!
